Fortune magazine has an amusing take on the XBox 360 realease. The best point made is that most of the games for the XBox 360 are sequals. This has been a large complaint of most hardcore gamers that today’s games lack true ingenuity and originality. In fact, if you check out the launch list, 14 of 18 of the games are sequals. That means a meager 11% of games for the system are original. Wow, 89% of those games are rehashes and graphically-overhauled versions of their former self.

That’s just plain appaulling.
